The Princess of Free Stuff and Cut-Off Prices Strikes Again

I live approximately 3 minutes away from two malls. It has become sort of routine-slash-social-practice for us here at home to go there every weekend when we've got nothing to do. It isn't really the place where you can find extremely good finds all the time. Today though I found a pair of Kenneth Cole Reaction sunglasses. (I want the brown ones.) Out of the many eyewear brands inside the shop, Kenneth Cole was on sale. How awesome. And it's part of KC Reaction's Clearvision... which makes it ideal for people without clear vision like me. Nyahahaha.

  • I'm not much for these sunglasses, even less for aviator-like ones. But somehow, after tons of Angelina Jolie movies and celebrity tabloid/gossip magazines, it grew on me. And so, I concluded about 2 months ago that it wouldn't hurt to jump into this band wagon. Besides, this one I found is a pretty decent, classy pair that you won't find in the P200 corner. (Yes, so don't blame me for not looking around for cheaper substitutes... none conjures the mental image (with matching sound effects) of 'Jackpot' clinking on a Vegas slot machine.)
  • Last (Philippine) summer vacation, thanks to my aunt's new orange-brownish Oakleys she bought for just $70 in Costco, thank you membership discount, I discovered that it's actually cool seeing through orange or brown-tinted lenses since everything seems to be in sepia. And we were at the beach the first time I tried her orange pair on. So palm trees + sepia = me remembering I wasn't able to go to the Cali long drive. (Damn messed up uni plans.) It's even better when the lenses are polarized, of course.
  • Due to my photography, I actually enjoy not wearing eye glasses at times too because when I fix my eyes on something near me, the whole scene turns into a selectively focused photograph.
  • Wait, my aunt said she's retiring her orange-ish Serengeti sunglasses and giving them to me. And since I'm the princess of getting free stuff, of course, I'm taking them. Problem is I forgot to bring it with me from Japan. (Yeah, the only aunt I talk about is the one who lives in Japan and the one I almost always travel with.) Oh well, she's visiting home soon so she can give it to me then. W00t for free stuff. W00t.
  • Notice how I have strayed away from the topic after one bulleted item.

Anyway, which among the three colors would you pick? I don't care if it's a very biased personal choice, of course it would be. I'm just asking. (I seem to prefer the brown one because I just like it and I already have a black one, but the black one's sleek too... and the green is a little drab. But I like the green ones too. I dunno. I get very indecisive too.)

I want moccasins too. But I'm poor at the moment so I have to wait until my birthday and ask some relative to buy them for me. Nyahaha. (Or I can get a job. But I need all the free time I can get because I joined the UP Cinema Art Movement org. And that's worth way more than being able to buy stuff.)

Good news for me is I'm going back to the shop tomorrow to buy the exact pair I was talking about. My luck's still working for things bigger than finding lose change in random telephone booths.

    Disclaimer:
I am NOT a shopaholic. In fact, I don't even shop, shop. Aside from I'm too poor for routine shopping, I'm a practical person. Unless I get this certain, shall we say, liking for, erm, stuff.

camouflaging? no, i just wanted a brown-orange double gradient glasses :P I mean, they're not the usual browns. I'm feeling the sepia-ness. :)) I don't see people wearing the same brown-orange i have.

Oh yeah. I think I saw you too. Was that when I had my very pink (and yellow) disney umbrella? I think so.
