Oh man, uni.
Uni is probably sucking all the creative juices out of me, I might as well look like some prune deformed into a grossly humanoid shape. My blog posts have even turned into seeming National Geographic narratives. (Not that I hate the channel, in fact I'd like to work for the NG Society someday.)
To keep myself from committing suicide in the middle of Math 17 I just remind myself that I've actually found somebody that I can stare at from a certain distance. I've the same reason for not committing suicide in the middle of my Geology 11 class, which is twice a week, too. Not that these classes are hard... I find them too slow-paced and easy (and for Geol, the teacher is not very good with words in explaining... it's like pre-school all over again).
What are other things I look forward to aside from some person? Uni is great (mine at least) because I have film showings at the film institute to look forward to at the end of every day or week. I also have a film 10 class to look forward to every Monday. I also have sports climbing as PE, which is every Wednesday. Plus throw in some other random events, like, let me see, rallies and activist demonstrations. -_- No, I don't look forward to those.
Spontaneity is much more fun too. I just realized I can visit some friends in another city every Thursdays because I only have two classes and I get off from classes at 11:15am.
To make next week more exciting, I'm bringing out my camera again and taking lots of photos. I'm not using the film SLR because right now I am broke and saving up for the new Oasis album which sells for double the usual price because it has a "bonus" DVD. Thus, I don't have developing money. So digital instantness, here I come. Digital camera = new boyfriend. (Sad life, eh?)
As for those who drop by my deviantArt gallery, I will be putting up the Best Of Kyoto series of photographs soon.
I watched Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy with a couple of friends today by the way. Hilariously awesome movie. Did justice to the book too, despite the slightly altered elements and new scenes. Went to a bookstore after too. It was selling this collection of leather-bound journals which were awesome. I should get one or make one as a "travel" diary when I get to launch a one year sojourn around the world or something. (Hah, not in the near future, obviously.)
And there was this freaky elevator man who kept talking to me and a friend inside the, erm, elevator. Guess we have to cut them elevator attendants some slack. They're probably desperate to talk to somebody, being stuck inside those elevators in long durations.
And that my friends, just this instant, gave me an idea for a new short movie. It'd of course be set inside an elevator with various people and just random conversations showing the different blahdiblahs in today's society blah and show the hopelessness of the elevator attendant. Has this been done before? Tell me if it has, so I wouldn't have to waste brain cells over writing it if it's just going to be an unintended rip :D
