Tokyo Drift a bit too late but whatev
Watched Fast and the Furious Tokyo Drift yesterday. Haha I know I'm late but at least the theaters here still run it. Ah it was a really fun one to watch and in that aspect, it's awesome. Watch it with my mom and dad and my dad being a huge car enthusiast said Han's yellow-orange and black car was actually the very car that one this car show in Japan last year I think or two years ago. The company loaning the car felt a bit down about having to repaint the car and everything just so people won't recognize it from that show.
They actually shot most street scenes and bits of the chase in Japan (Shibuya area yo) but the car chases and even the parking lot ones were shot in LA I think. It's so crowded in the city, Tokyo won't loan a whole parking building just for the movie. Yes, parking spaces are sacred. Well yeah so they shipped the cars and stuff from Japan to LA and even the taxis and stuff for the street scenes. Plus added a bunch of Japanese signs for some scenes. Oh and that song at the start of the movie, wasn't that from a while back? Hahaha I liked that song. Well I still like it.
One of the most fun things about the movie were the cameos! I recognize the first female teacher from some show. And then I was told that the guy who gave the go signal in that first race between DK and Sean is Koizumi's son! Hahahah Yea the prime minister's son. Konishiki the sumo wrestler was there too, really amusing. And those two fishermen smoking and sitting by the river watching Sean practive drifting in the empty sort of looking lot are two famous racers in Japan.
Oh and the stunts were done by real drift experts, but mostly American racers from the car magazines and stuff. And well Vin Diesel from the first movie. Roy from Perfect Score's in that movie too! Thanks to JC for that one, I think he's one of Han's friends, the one who's always with the girl? Not sure. Koizumi's son is still the most amusing thing in that movie. Hello can you tell something is happening here. Haha.
Well yea I should go do a movie reaction paper now and study for this test I have tomorrow. jhdkWEU#W)SJDHASW()&$)(@#KLet'swatchLovewrecked!
