I did not miss the entire Lantern Parade even though Ayisse and I finished with the whole PDI Super thing at 4 or something. (My South East Asian studies prof agreed to let me miss the long test and take it today at 1pm instead. Yay for Dr. Mabazza :D)
I was right in time for the main lantern parade program in front of Quezon Hall. After standing around for 2 hours or so, craning our necks and standing on tip toe we were about to leave, Kla, Marge and I, when they announced that the fireworks are going to start as in... right now.
What were we thinking when we decided to miss the fireworks or something??? It has got to be the best part of the day. Yeah, fireworks... we're treated to it every new year (hell, our ka-village is always trying to compete with the neighboring malls, sometimes theirs is better than the malls'), I've watched grander fireworks in Japan (still the best there is in my opinion) but this one by Beta Epsilon's up on my list because you get to watch it really close to where they're firing them firecrackers so you end up watching the fireworks display from right under.
I have this fear of the fireworks falling over me but I had easily gotten over it last night. Now I can die because I've watched a fireworks display from right under it. (Meaning it feels like the 'works are gonna fall over you and incinerate you.)

I decided to go to J3's because I haven't gone to a single party he held through out the 4 years I knew him and it's about time I go there. And all you people better dance later cos it's just not a party without the dancing. (Come on, let it not be some plain drink fest or what, bonding with computer games? lol... On second thought, it might just end up like that. Let's move the party to my house then. haha)
