Oi oi oi
Aha. Blogposts in the morning. I am so getting a 10:00a first subject as much as I can for the rest of my university life. But I think I'd have to take 8:30a classes starting next school year because I'll be driving my sibs to school and well, I'd end up arriving in UP much earlier than 10:00am. But that should be pretty good, time to bum around the library and stuff. So yeah...
Actually, I've come here to write about how I've been wanting to write for two weeks now but keep on forgetting about how the weather's been extra lovely lately. Not too hot cos even if the sun's beating down there's a cool breeze on and about.
Pricemart cupcakes are one of the goddamnfreaking best cupcakes I've tasted. (Ofcourse there are the NISMED cupcakes too and random chocolate chip and blueberry cupcakes...)
I'm planning to go to Vietnam later this year with my new friend from SEA30 class. We were inviting others but they thought we were kidding cos we were like, "Pupunta kami Cambodia, sama ka?" And then we go, "Ay hindi, Vietnam nalang pala daw. Hindi kami nagjojoke ah, totoo 'to." I think that bit of reassurance just made it sound jokier hahaha But it was fun.
And of course, my other friends have to come with me, that is, if they're not flying to the opposite side of the world for uni. HAHA You know who you guys are. (Meh. I don't have much friends. haha AND DIXI, it's gonna be this October, can you come too?)
Oh, and on another note, I attended this New Insights on Austronesian Expansion, "cutting edge" stuff hehe, at the Archaeo room yesterday. It was by Dr. Roger Belch. It was interesting. And what's more interesting is that when you're new to something and there are all these innovations and discoveries going about that seem "commonplace" to you already because you've been born to it already, it doesn't seem new at all. It's easier to absorb it cos you're learning about the whole thing for the first time. But I think it's a bit hard too cos you have much more material from past studies to delve into.
Toodles then everyone, I've an exam at 11:30 later. Anthro.
[I just realized this post sounded like academic nerd post or something.]
