I attend those mall masses. You know, the ones that start an hour before the mall opens. Sometimes it doesn’t seem like a real mass. The whole church feel isn’t probably simulated enough, whatever. Most of the mall mass-goers would tell you that it’s convenient since they have to run around the mall after anyway.

Well, for the Jesus freaks who think there is something wrong with this, screw me, spite me, burn me at the stake but I like being able to run to the nearest fast food/restaurant/foodstall/surplus shop after the mass. And for the aetheists and “aetheists” who are wondering why the hell I go to church when I just pray there and take communion, screw me, spite me, burn me at the stake but I like being able to run to the nearest fast food/restaurant/foodstall/surplus shop after the mass (if it is indeed inside a mall).

(I don’t like to talk about politics and issues concerning religion much because it is ever confused and confusing. But I thought I’d just mention how religion is mostly a part of our way of life and how I have been looking into Buddhism and seeing how it is a very good way of life, again, for me, of course. And this is subjective so I don’t want comments saying Buddhism is the root of all evil or something stupidly biased like that.)

BUT that’s not what I came online for to talk about. I have come to talk about the choir that sang this morning.

We all know that the Catholic Church is against homosexuality, although not everybody who is a part of it is against anybody, or anything, pinkishly third-sex. Well, today at mass, the choir which sang was an all-gay group. Yes. How ironic.

I won’t dwell much on this issue but will spare a few words and move on. What is…

What is up with this phobia (not just within the Catholic Church but within the society in general) of prefixes other than hetero attached to the word sexual? Sure, the Church poses a lot of reasons and arguments supporting their anti-ness but if they really are a religion basing their stuff on the heavenly words sent from above, is there anything in the Bible that says homos are not human? That homos don’t have the free will to subscribe to this faith? Sure there’s the sodomy burning pillars thing but meh, I wouldn’t want to expound on it further since this sections is really devoted to the gay choir, even if I only said one sentence about them or something.

Export Rejects

Export Rejects is a new band. Just kidding.

There are actually a lot of good stuff in SM’s Surplus Shop. Every now and then they put out a whole bunch of Ann Taylors. Or good quality parkas. Or American Eagle Outfitters. Or J. Crews. Or Burberrys (which was still the weirdest of them all). Blablabla. It’s not really about the brand, sometimes they do sell the really sucky rag-fabric J. Crew shirts, but about the quality. Exports = higher quality than usual, better fabrics, all that shiz. And because they are surpluses = cheaper prices.

Jasmine Trias did not drown in a pool of McDs French fries

I read in the newspaper that Jasmine Trias is going to make a movie with the Duff sisters. The movie is All-Girl Band. Jasmine Trias is going to play the drummer; in fact, she is now under “intense” training in percussions. Again, the movie stars the Duff sisters.

We now all know which movie I’m certainly not going to watch. (But then, there are such things as curiosity, research, and pirated DVD.)

CSI: Miami
Is this the CSI series that everybody else thinks suck? Well I think it’s awesome. Meh. CSI isn’t really one of the TV shows I whored. Speaking of TV shows, I’m waiting for Less Than Perfect and Nighty Night to air. Wait, I already said that in a previous post.

Another Random Bit
I actually enjoyed watching Cadet Kelly. Yes, it stars Hilary Duff.
