Withdrawal

I have successfully notified USC of my withdrawal. That sucks so much. Now the fact is more concrete than ever... I'm not going there for college. And I'm not going to Northeastern for undergrad too. It's about time I continue with original plans of applying to Australia, I guess.

My decision doesn't hurt as much now, hehe. I just sigh and feel that there's nothing more I can do and that I just feel relieved now that I have a definite immediate route to take. However, after college is still a tricky road. I actually want to work in research, as long as I get into a complete research laboratory, which I hope exists here in the Philippines. But I don't know how much photography will take over my life. Despite having the big picture of becoming a NatGeo photographer, I don't know if I can actually start out as a photographer in the Philippines.

Oh well, I had DIxi write in my yearbook write up that I swear to break into the photography scene. Let that be a reminder of what I want to do. It'd help make my photography plans feel more definite, I guess. And I'll turn into a messed up habitual drinker if I fail because that yearbook write up will be haunting me. Forever. And ever. And ever.

I'll finalize my Kyoto itinerary and after that I can start fixing the fashion photosession. Wish me luck, everybody.

Maybe you can help by giving me your opinions on what field you think I'd do well. hahaha Not that I'm letting you pick my future (parang reality game show eh no?), but I might get ideas.

Ideas.

Everything, every great thing, starts out as ideas. And so does every massive failure.

You'd do well in anything, I think so.
Why?

Look at all those people doing jobs they didn't really plan on doing and succeeded anyway. Most actors didn't want to be actors when they were young, yet when they stumbled upon showbusiness, they did their best and got the hang of it.

I don't really have a concrete answer (maybe just yet), too bad. I suggest you make a dartboard with possible paths you might take, and throw a dart! That's how unpredictable life is.

Who knows, you might end up in showbusiness too. Hehe.

No way. Not showbusiness. Media maybe. But not showbiz like acting. Hope I don't eat my words lol

Hehe.. showbusiness, meaning you take pictures and videos of people and you SHOW it to others, and make a living out of it. hehe. I think i have a concrete idea now: do the thing you feel like doing all your life. lol maybe that's not concrete at all hehe.

I like to think of that as media not showbusiness haha.

I might shift to anthropology. Had an enlightening talk with my dad. It's something I would be happy doing. It's the fun kind of reearch since it's mostly field research.
