My friend is in front of John Joe Joseph at this very moment

[Edit]
So, I turn my TV to MTV (I haven't tuned in to that channel in an awful long time) and to my surprise, John Joe Joseph is there, hosting UBreak with another VJ. I like him better with his short hair but yeah, he still looks cool (can't you see how much I'm struggling with saying he's hot? Okay. He is. There. I've said it. hehe) And he speaks straight Filipino... hahaha.

I just remember that Super! Top 20 People to watch out for in 2005 list. I was supposed to give the spread to Ginnie so she can take Japoy's picture in there (she's really friends with Japoy from Taekwondo so I'm wondering why she still wants that newspaper picture...hehe). I ended up going around the school asking people what they think about John Joe Joseph (who was in the same spread).

I was happily sitting in front of my computer, ready to type in a new blog entry when my cellphone suddenly vibrates. It was Ayisse, calling me like she does whenever she has something to tell. And then I answer hello to a panicky-sounding Ayisse.

Wtf? Is there a fire or what?

Only to realize that she's telling me in a half-screaming, adrenaline-soaked voice that she is at the MTV party and that she saw John Joe Joseph.

John Joe Joseph.

It took me a full second to realize who she has just seen. And then she rants in that hurried pace how so much of a good looking lad John Joe Joesph is (sorry, I like typing-saying-his whole name. It just rolls off the tongue nicely :D). Oo. Gwapo siya. And Ayisse was ranting and ranting, Ang gwapo niya! in an unexpectedly teenybopper way.

And then she goes: He's right in front of me! Pwede ko siyang kausapin!
I go: Ano? Nasa harap mo siya ngayon? Edi kausapin mo!
She goes: Ang gwapo, gwapo niya!

I ask her who she's with (Kjwan Street Team), etc. etc. And then she hangs up with her last words, Ang gwapo, gwapo niya!.

My friend is one lucky person. Very lucky.

I don't think I've seen an MTV segment with John Joe Joseph in it yet. But I have to. I mean...! Come on, it's him.

*sigh*

Why couldn't there be more John Joe Joseph's in the world?
