|(O_O)| --> Universal dance step

We've reached that point in the trip wherein things are starting to wrap up and everything's starting to turn into mere memories. But I kind of like it that way. You get this renewed disposition in how to go about your life once things return to regular programming. And don't you ever feel like some things are much better in retrospect?

So we went on this whole day 8am-8pm Ha Long Bay tour today. When we weren't inside the wood panelled boat eating lunch or inside the caves (with different colored lights highlighting the stalactites and stalagmites... looked very much like Disneyland if you ask me, I could already hear it "Welcome to Disney Land Ha Long Bay Adventure, please line up for your ride) we were out by the front of the boat in what seemed to be the hull cracking jokes, imitating komodo dragons, listening to songs, catching everything in photos (sorry the video cam is for the in transit moments only :p), and trying to even out arm color from adventuring days wearing t-shirts. With that pseudo-sentence my 3rd grade Language teacher is probably going to scream at me for not learning anything about constructing effective sentences.

Anyway, we liked the front of the boat better than lounging around on the top deck (there were only 14 of us in the group). The limestone cliffs seem more imposing and it's more fun. On the ride back to the port/coast there were only 5 of us left, this Vietnamese lady, this couple from NYC and Ayisse and me. The rest got off Cat Ba Islands to spend the night there since they took the overnight tour whilst we were just in it for one whole day. So it was pretty quiet and we just ate cookies and watched the sun set and questioned new dispositions and laughed and took more photos while looking stupid and.. yeah, stuff.

On the ride back home it was a bit surreal and it just dawned on me then that I am not home. I am somewhere else. And right here right now is something that you can't just experience again easily. And all these songs were playing on Ayisse's ipod... from Oasis to uhm Oasis to uh.. The Charlatans to Teddy Geiger to Postal Service to lots of other things. And then Rihanna's SOS suddenly comes on.

By the way we've come up with this universal dance step. I swear you can use it on ANY kind of song. It involves framing your head in 3 different ways. Will upload video. Pictures at Ayisse's.
